Not many people realize it, but the next couple of nights we have a great opportunity to see some shooting stars! The Geminid meteor showers is supposed to be at its peak of 50 shooting stars/hr. Get the google sky map app, a blanket, a hot beverage, and get out there! The moon phase is at a perfect new moon, the skies are clearing up and it's all coming together for some great stargazing tonight!
Who doesn't want to start the new year knowing the universe owes you a wish or two?!
