Character and personality.
I'd like to think I'm more of a character. 
A character is how you are (not act) when you're alone.
A personality is the you that you project on a stranger... proving you aren't anonymous.

Why prove yourself to ppl that already know you?

Almost like going to work as a citizen instead of as an employee. 

Humanity has become so felicitously estranged.
